The whole pitch is that we make a business show up when AI does the searching. The honest test of that pitch is to run it on ourselves — out loud, dated, before we've fixed a thing. So we did, across two engines. Here's exactly what AI returned, including the part that doesn't flatter us.
Run this test on my business — free →Neither of our brands was named by AI for the queries our customers would actually type. That's not a confession we're hiding — it's the starting line of the exact climb we sell. Most agencies would never show you this page. Showing it is the product.
A dated before-and-after on ourselves beats any testimonial we could buy.Anyone can buy a five-star review. What you can't fake is a before-and-after on yourself, in the open, where the numbers can embarrass you. A brand-new company has no client receipts yet — so the first receipt we can honestly show is our own climb. If we can move our own score from "not cited" to "cited," in the open, that proof is worth more than any review. And if we can't, you'll see that too. That's the deal.
The industry's own playbooks recommend exactly this: run your key queries through ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI and document where you're cited versus where competitors are. So we ran ours — on two engines.
| Engine (June 26, 2026) | Who AI named | Carter Studio? |
|---|---|---|
| Google AI Overview | French Med Spa, Genesis, R Medical Spa, Aisling, Renu (6 sites cited) | NOT NAMED |
| Perplexity | — named no business at all (generic how-to-choose checklist) | NOT NAMED |
The businesses get surfaced through directories and reviews — but the question of who makes a local business AI-ready has no named answer yet. That empty space is the opening Carter Studio is built for. We don't get to claim it by saying so; we claim it by getting cited for it. Step one is admitting we're not — yet.
| Engine (June 26, 2026) | Who AI named | Alpha Vault? |
|---|---|---|
| Google AI Overview | Binance Academy, Coinbase Learn, Coursera/edX, MIT OpenCourseWare, Andreas Antonopoulos, Coin Bureau (11 sites cited) | NOT NAMED |
| Perplexity | Coinbase Learn, Binance Academy, MIT OpenCourseWare | NOT NAMED |
The useful part: AI didn't just list names — it spelled out why it trusts them: honest risk disclosure, balanced views including the downside, no guaranteed-returns, no price-prediction hype. That's our positioning word for word. So the path isn't to become something we're not — it's to make the proof of what we already are loud enough for AI to pick up. A winnable climb.
These are the same GEO levers we'd pull for a paying client. Each is a checkbox we'll mark on this page, dated, as we go.
The movement — from not named, toward cited — is the proof. Not a promise of it. The proof.

Carter Studio runs this exact test on your business — who AI names, reaches, prices and picks in your area — hands you the dated report, fixes the gaps, and re-tests so you watch your score move. You can see us run it on ourselves right here.
Honest scope: "Cited" means named in the AI/search answer to the stated query on the stated date; results vary by engine, location, and over time, and we don't control the engines. Baseline answers captured June 26, 2026 via Google AI Overview and Perplexity for the queries shown. We make no guarantee of a ranking, a citation, or revenue — the receipt is the dated before/after on this page. Carter Studio and Alpha Vault are brands of Carter Enterprise LLC. Educational/marketing; not financial, investment, or tax advice.
